Tesla Model Y Facelift (Juniper): Now available to order in Europe
The revised Tesla Model Y, known under the code name "Juniper", has been available to order in Europe since January 24, 2025. The facelift not only brings numerous technical and optical innovations, but also some interesting special features for the European market. Here are all the important data and facts about the new Model Y Long Range Launch Edition.
Design and Exterior Launch Edition
A striking feature of the new Tesla Model Y is the absence of the Tesla logo on the front, which is no longer available in Europe and America - this is only available for the Chinese market. Otherwise, the vehicle has a modern, futuristic look:
- Front end: Narrower headlights and a continuous LED light bar.
- Rear: A continuous LED strip ensures a uniform design.
- Colors: In the Launch Edition, the Model Y is currently only available in Solid Black and Quicksilver , both at no extra charge.
Technology and Interior Launch Edition
Tesla has also improved the interior:
- Materials: More Alcantara elements and special badges in the Launch Edition.
- Screen: A new 8-inch screen in the center console for rear passengers.
- Equipment: Currently the interior is only available in black.
- Extras: Performance boost, trailer hitch and 20-inch Helix 2.0 wheels are included in the Launch Edition.
Performance data of the new Model Y Long Range Launch Edition
The new Model Y Long Range Launch Edition impresses with the following data:
- Range: 568 km (WLTP)
- Maximum speed: 201 km/h
- Acceleration: 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds
Prices and availability
In Germany, the Model Y Long Range Launch Edition is available for €60,990 . This represents an additional cost of €6,000 compared to the previous Model Y Long Range. The first vehicles will be delivered from March 2025 and will be produced exclusively at the Tesla plant in Grünheide.

Once production of the new Model Y facelift has ramped up steadily, additional models and color options will be available. This includes the known configurations that are not currently available.
