Installation and Compatibility
The S3XY Knob comes with a Gen2 Commander if required, which offers you unique automation functions. Please note that a Commander is a prerequisite for control. Examples include automatically restarting the autopilot after a lane change or deactivating the windshield wipers while driving on autopilot.
In addition, the S3XY Knob is an extension of the S3XY Buttons . If you already have the buttons, you can pair them with the Knob's Commander and use them together.

Please note that the S3XY Knob is currently not compatible with Models S/X and Model 3/Y before 2021 .
